Release Tab Down
Motorola announced the Oasis Bluetooth® headset that redefines comfort and performance. Oasis features a unique, behind-the-ear design that creates a comfortable, stable feel and dual-mics for superior noise cancellation. Oasis will be available starting October 3 through AT&T.
Designed with You in Mind
Oasis was designed using the feedback Motorola received from consumers during an ongoing series of proprietary studies on ergonomics and comfort that have been taking place since 2006. The largest of these studies involved evaluating more than 500 consumer's ears and hours of one-on-one interviews. Motorola then used the consumer ear molds to digitally create 15,000 ear measurements, 22 times more measurement points than traditional methods using calipers to measure. When developing Oasis we considered all aspects of the ear — literally inside and out — to guide our designers on how to create the most comfortable headset design available today.
Feel and Hear the Difference
The behind-the-ear wearing style for Oasis is the most comfortable design available and when worn the headset looks and feels like nothing is there. Adjust the boom and choose from three cushy ear gels to create a headset experience that is just right for you. The unique behind-the-ear wearing style disguises the headset and counter balances the weight, making it the lightest headset available. The extended boom has dual-mics for outstanding noise cancellation and suppresses wind up to 12mph, which is 2X better than leading competitors' wind suppression technology.
Simply Intuitive
We learned that consumers want frequently used buttons in more convenient locations. For Oasis we designed and integrated the answer/end call button and the dedicated mute button in intuitive locations, that don't impact the comfortable fit. Staying connected has never been easier with voice prompts that automatically guide you through pairing the headset, as well as the MultiPoint technology that provides the ability to connect and receive calls from two Bluetooth-enabled devices at the same time.
Availability
Oasis Bluetooth® headset will be available in the U.S. beginning October 3 at AT&T stores and online for $79.99.
